In February 1998 our company began trading as Orica Coatings, changing its name from ICI Dulux Australia, as we had previously been known in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea. Orica Coatings is owned and operated by Orica Australia Pty Ltd, a business which ranks among the top 200 companies in the Asia Pacific region.

As Orica Coatings, we develop, manufacture and supply decorative, architectural paints and specialist coatings which are the very best available for the job - irrespective of the type of building project or where it might be located.

Orica Coatings calls on 80 years of experience in the coatings field to supply quality coatings solutions to our customers.

Research & Development
To ensure that we meet our customers' exacting requirements, our products are researched and developed in Orica Coatings' world-class ISO and NATA-accredited research laboratories. We manufacture our wide range of products in ISO accredited plants located throughout Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Papua New Guinea.

Our products are rigorously laboratory tested and are subjected to long-term exposure testing in Allunga, North Queensland. Test conditions there are amongst the most environmentally punishing on the planet. This harsh testing ensure that the Orica Coatings product you use is the best technology can give.
