Orica Chemnet Polymer + Additives To Distribute Qenos Film Polymers

Orica Chemnet and Qenos are pleased to announce the appointment of Orica Chemnet Polymer + Additives as sole Australian source of Qenos locally produced Polyethylene and Polypropylene film products normally sold through a distributor.

Commencing 1 February 2004, Polymer + Additives will distribute Qenos Alkathene™ and Alkatuff™ grades and Alkamix™ master batches for film and non-film applications. This new agreement expands Polymer + Additives’ established role as a distributor of Qenos products.

Polymer + Additives will supply a comprehensive range of Qenos LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE and PP products. These are proven, locally manufactured polymers from Australia’s largest PE producer. To support these products, the Polymer + Additives team offers large and small customers many years’ technical and supply chain experience.

The integration of Qenos film products into the Polymer + Additives Australian distribution system will provide stock holdings for customers in all states. "Polymer + Additives will provide existing customers with access to the same high quality Qenos polymers they now use. We will hold a wide range in local warehouses to ensure efficient customer service," said Frank Glatz, Polymer + Additives Commercial Manager.

With 120 employees, Polymer + Additives services over 1,000 Australian and New Zealand customers from offices and warehouses in major capital cities and compounding plants in Laverton and Deer Park, Victoria.
