The Selection Process
The five main steps of our selection process are:
Step 1 - Online application.
You will be asked to attach your resume and complete a brief online application questionnaire. Your application will be assessed as soon as we are able, and you can expect an update on your application within a week of applying.
Step 2 - Online On-demand Video Interview or Phone Screen.
After completing your application, suitable candidates can expect an email invitation with a link to complete a short video interview. There will be the option to complete this as a phone interview on request. This is for us to understand your motivation for applying, why you want to join Orica and learn a bit more about you.
Step 3 - Lets Connect! Q&A Call.
After reviewing the completed video interviews, we will reach out to successful candidates by phone. This is your opportunity to learn more about Orica, discuss the graduate opportunities and for us to answer any questions you may have.
Step 4 - FutureShaper Lab Online Group Assessment Activity.
Progressed candidates will be invited to attend an online group assessment activity. This is the opportunity for you to showcase your problem solving, teamwork, communication and adaptability skills.
Step 5 – Psychometric and Abilities Assessment.
Candidates selected for the final round of one on one interviews will be sent an invitation to complete a short abilities and psychometric assessment.
Step 6 - One-on-One interviews.
A great opportunity for you to exchange with leaders in the sector that will allow them to get to know you better. Put your best foot forward during this interview based on behavioural questions!
