Orica Digital Solutions’ FRAGTrack™ Gen 4 has received a Good Design Award Green Tick in the 2026 Australian Good Design Awards, recognising the product’s considered approach to design, innovation and performance in demanding mining environments.

The recognition follows FRAGTrack™ Gen 4 also being named a finalist in the Hunter Manufacturing Awards’ Excellence in Product Design category, highlighting the strength of the Australian-designed technology and the collaboration behind its development.  

Developed in collaboration with Design Anthology and Syndetic, the new generation was shaped by operational insights from mine sites around the world. The design focuses on making the technology more robust, scalable and easier to deploy and maintain, while supporting a wider range of mining applications.

The solution brings together a compact, modular hardware architecture with advanced machine vision. Designed for harsh mining conditions, including dust, vibration, water and extreme temperatures, FRAGTrack™ supports multiple deployment configurations across mobile digging equipment and fixed plant installations.
