Data breach issue

Orica was recently advised by recruitment services provider PageUp, of a security incident where unauthorised person(s) accessed their system. PageUp has provided recruitment services to a number of organisations, including Orica.
PageUp has conducted forensic investigations and have confirmed that unauthorised access to their systems and personal data relating to clients, job applicants, references and PageUp employees occurred.
If you created an account on the PageUp system for Orica or one of its related entities, like Minova, you may have provided personal information that was stored in the PageUp system and some of this information may have been accessed by unauthorised person(s). The information provided could have included the following (but you may have submitted more information):
- Email address
- Birth date
- Physical address
- Mobile phone number and/or landline
- Education and work experience
The PageUp system was only used to collect information about your job application. In applying for a role at Orica, we did not require information such as bank details or taxation identification numbers.
PageUp has advised Orica that login and password details were protected with encryption at the time of the security incident.

Orica has stopped using the PageUp system to advertise jobs for Orica and its related entities.
Orica takes its obligation on data protection very seriously and until this matter is resolved, we will be using other platforms to directly advertise available roles. If you currently have an application that is in progress, we will still have access to your application and will process it appropriately.
