About MINExpo International 2024

MINExpo International is the world's largest mining event, drawing thousands of industry professionals from across the globe. The event features over 1,200 exhibitors showcasing groundbreaking technologies, products, and services that are transforming the mining landscape. This year’s expo promises to be a hub of innovation, providing a unique platform for industry leaders to connect and collaborate.

What Orica Will Be Showcasing

At MINExpo 2024, Orica will be highlighting a range of cutting-edge solutions across our four key verticals from Orica Digital Solutions, Mining, Quarry and Construction and Specialty Mining Chemicals.

A major highlight at our stand will be the TREAD MMU™ truck, showcasing the best in technology with a BlastIQ™ and 4D™ enabled Mobile Manufacturing Unit.  The revolutionary 4D™ bulk explosives system matches a wider range of explosives energy to changes in geology in real time, offering unprecedented flexibility and efficiency in blasting operations.

In other surface and underground blasting technologies, we'll be displaying WebGen™, the world's first wireless initiating system. Revolutionising mining, WebGen Wireless primers have been the catalyst of many innovative mining techniques improving safety, boosting productivity, maximising blast flexibility and reducing mining complexities of blasting in sensitive areas or close to communities.

From Orica Digital Solutions, Orebody Intelligence with Axis Mining Technology enabling our customer’s to gain accurate insights into their orebodies from the outset, enabling informed decision-making throughout the value chain.

To Blast Design and Execution discover OREPro 3D™ software application that predictively models blast movement without hardware or surveys, enabling iterative blast design for outcomes and improved grade control and our latest suite of digital technologies. SHOTPlus™ is approaching its next evolution as it becomes a highly performant and intelligent blast design product for surface and underground operations. The application will continue to be the centre point for drill and blast decision-making, while supporting Orica Digital’s move into adjacent and integrated workflows. The next evolution of SHOTPlus™ launching at MINExpo has an optimal data management and modelling capability which will benefit Orica Digital Solutions customers greatly.

Orica Digital Solutions, Geosolutions real-time geohazards and geotechnical technologies with GroundProbe, Measurand, 3vGeomatics, Navstar, RST instruments and Syscom Instruments, explore the full spectrum of what Orica can do for your operation.

Orica's Initiation and Electronic Blasting range will announce a range of new products that signal the next phase of innovation to enhance user experience, safety, operational productivity and sustainability outcomes. Key showcases will focus on the popular i-kon range, as well as the Neo range - which includes i-kon III Neo, eDev II Neo, and uni tronic 600 Neo - and is Orica's response to the growing demand for sustainable solutions and builds upon Orica's successful launch of Exel Neo, lead-free non-electric detonator technology.

Visitors will also see  Avatel™, the world's first development charging system, developed in partnership with Epiroc, displayed directly across from our booth at Epiroc's stand. Find Epiroc at stand 13419.
