Sophie's journey with Orica started in 2012 as a vacation student, where she discovered her passion for drill and blast operations. Fast forward to 2022, Sophie re-joined the Orica Digital Solutions team.
Sophie is the Product Owner within the Digital Solutions Blast Design and Execution team. Her role focuses on helping our customers turn their collected data into meaningful, actionable insights to create value. She specifically sought out this role as she was impressed by Orica's commitment to digital technology and their investment in innovation.
Currently, Sophie manages a suite of digital solutions software, including SHOTPlus™ and internal tools like the Blast Design Assistant. Her job allows her to interact with users, understand their needs, and translate those needs into developments that fit into Orica Digital Solutions broader Blast Design & Execution roadmap.
