ANFO based explosives for hot ground

Fortis™ Xtreme™ is a range of ammonium nitrate based explosives specially formulated for hot blast holes up to 100°C. It is not applicable in ground containing reactive sulphides. Fortis™ Xtreme™ products are part of the range of bulk products delivered by Orica's Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU™), which are capable of delivering multiple products. For large blasts, the MMU™ may be replenished on bench using the Orica Reload System. Site specific procedures must be written to ensure the Fortis™ Xtreme™ hot ground blasting system is implemented safely into each operation. Your Orica Technical Services Representative should be consulted on the specific application.
