Community reference group

The Community Reference Group, Kooragang Island (CRG) was established in 2005 to strengthen the relationship between the site and the local community.

The CRG meets regularly and provides a forum for open and ongoing communication between Orica and our closest neighbours. We value working with the community to build a constructive, transparent and trusted relationship.
Membership comprises local residents from Stockton, Fern Bay, Mayfield and Carrington, representatives from the City of Newcastle, local environmental groups, local industry, and representatives of schools and residential facilities.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the CRG, please email your expression of interest to [email protected] or call our contact Community Relations Manager on 1800 789 044. Include your name, the group you represent (if applicable), and your interest in joining the CRG.
